Physical marking of equipment and assets is a wise idea whether it’s to deter theft, identify it’s owner, make it easier to trace of prevent cyber-security breaches. IXCG provides a custom tamper resistant and tamper evident label printing service which are suitable for asset tags, equipment ID labels and tamper evident seals.
An asset tag is a label with a unique asset ID which, when attached to a company asset, positively identifies it as being property
of the company and make tracing easier. Asset tags usually bear the logo of the company, a unique asset tag ID number and, in some cases, a bar code or QR code to make the ID number machine readable. They are usually tamper evident, which means that the label leaves evidence that it has been removed, or tamper resistant, which means they’re highly resistant to removal attempts.
IXCG is able to provide asset tags to customer’s specifications along with the asset ID ranges assigned to each type of label. We are also able to supply asset labels on all new equipment supplied by IXCG.
Where an asset ID doesn’t have to be assigned to equipment, IXCG can supply custom labels to customers’ specifications. These labels can help prove ownership, deter theft and act as a guarantee of quality.
Tamper evident seals
Tamper evident seals are a tamper resistant or evident label which us used to prove whether something has been opened or not by sticking it over a screw hole or across an access panel. They are ideal for computer and electrical equipment, storage boxes or product containers (such as food or medicine bottles).
As well as printing and supplying labels, IXCG is also able to provide:
- Label design and layout.
- On site asset audits and labelling services.
- Security assessments, equipment ID labelling and tamper evident seal deployment.
- Barcode and QR code design and printing.
Labels vary in cost, depending on the size and type, but most start at roughly 50p (+VAT) and volume discounts are available. For advice, a quote or to request a sample, please contact us and to see example of customers using our labels, please visit our community page on Facebook.
